The Year of the Rat doesn't actually start until February 7, 2008, but we started celebrating early. Hannah's Chinese School (Joyous Chinese Cultural Center at our adoption agency, CCAI) had their annual Chinese New Year show in Denver. Hannah and her classmates sang a Chinese song that translates to "My Cheeks Look Like an Apple."
I tried to get a video of the performance, but I'm not sure it worked. So while I try to work that out, I thought I'd at least post some photos I took. Because they were taken at a distance, it's a little hard to see the kids' faces in some of them. So here's a hint: Hannah's the one with the red pantsuit and the pink headband.
