Hannah's preschool put on their big Halloween concert this morning. Lindsey and I were invited, along with the other parents and families. It's a small preschool, and this was the Tuesday/Thursday 3 year old class and 4 year old class. Very cute! The kids all wore their Halloween costumes. Hannah's "fiance", Logan (just turned 5 years old) showed up in a Spiderman costume. Spiderman is one of the few cartoon characters that she is afraid of. When she saw him she hid behind me, although I told her it was Logan. I even asked him to talk to her so she would know it was him, but she didn't warm up to him until he took the mask off. I think it's the big alien-looking eyes. She better get over this if she really plans to marry him "next Friday", as she always says. She says I can be the flower girl in her wedding.

Hannah was Snow White. She was looking at her costume and comparing it to a picture of Snow White in one of her books. She said, "Mommy, why are the sleeves different?" She correctly pointed out that the "real" Snow White's sleeves are mostly blue, but her costume has red sleeves. I told her that they had to make the costume a little different from the real Snow White's dress, because otherwise she would look so much like Snow White, people would think she WAS Snow White.

I got a new video camcorder. It's a "Flip" camera, and it's pretty much idiot-proof (lucky for me). The quality isn't as good as more expensive ones, but it was only $150. And no moving parts! (Not as easy to break!) I took a video of the show, and have been trying to post it here, or email it to family, but I can't seem to figure it out. I'll post it here as soon as I figure it out.

Hannah at Logan's birthday party yesterday



Last week we went to the pumpkin patch to get a pumpkin for Halloween. Hannah was very tired (it was almost time for her nap), so we didn't get a lot of good pictures. In the one where she is standing alone, I asked her to smile pretty, and that was what I got!

Yesterday was Logan's party. Logan is the 5 year old boy who goes to the same preschool as Hannah; the one Hannah says she is going to marry. But she spent most of her time at the party with Gabriella, not Logan. So I'm not sure how serious she is about this marriage thing! (She does say I can be a flower girl in her wedding, though.) Gabriella isn't going to Gymboree anymore at the time we're there, so Hannah hasn't seen much of her lately. The girls had a great time playing together. The party was at Mr. Biggs, which is a big "play place" for kids. They have a Kid Town part for little kids Hannah's age, so they mostly played there.
