Waiting family

I just downloaded the "Waiting Family" packet from the CCAI website. So I guess we are now officially "waiting." (What were we doing before?)

The packet has a lot of information in it that is interesting to me but would be boring to anyone else not involved in the process: preparation for travel, "gotcha day" (I hate that expression), attachment and bonding, post-placement. There are packing lists for the parents, lists on what to bring for the baby, medications for parents AND baby...it goes on and on. Actually, I am glad we have several more months to get ready. Especially since our house is Procrastination Station.
